After the Game today I'm glad lamps chose Dave over James, When James made an appearance he was sloppy in possession and looked rusty
However, I knew pulisic would have made an impact and I'm glad he came on.

Nathswindon no5 sure ee were watchingbthecsam game but Dave put in many good crosses and somecoutstanding ones like the one that led to the Pulisic goal. He didn't start the season all that well but has generally improved as season went on and today lookedcsharp from start. In contrast Rees looked v rusty in short time on. pitch and might have cost us points.

JBS - Totally agree about Reece, but I'd just put it down to being rusty; he is usually much slicker than today. As for Azpi, it is undeniable that he contributed to both goals, but the rest of his crossing today was woeful.

That’s banter! Chelsea won 2-1 and Azpi registered two assists. What more do you guys want, I think we are spoiled in the prem watching Alexander Arnold every week, no one can do what he does guys. If we go 1-0 down and out right back starts getting forward and ends up with two assists to win the game, he has more than done his job.

azpi is an amazing guy full stop. james is young and learning we have ti accept a couple of sloppy performances.

I love Azpi he's great, however pay dues sure down when it gets to him against a defensive team.
It's took 60 minutes for him to hit a decent cross and he only really did it twice in the entire game.
We conceed a lot of goals at that far post from crosses also, ordinarily people just Blane Jorgihno for that, clearly not today.
I'm the right game Azpi is great, but against a low block the position leave him spare and double up Willian because he's not a threat.

Azpi did generally struggle with his crosses unfortunately. He either over hit them or under hit them - maybe down to the lockdown rust.
However, thankfully he got the two crosses in space of 2 mins right as they mattered the most today. Confidence is key. excellent win.

Sloppy performance from James? Didn’t he come on In the 90th minute, how can anyone’s performance be judged when he only played a matter of minutes.

Reece James has shown us what he can do and that he has what it takes to succeed. I would not normally judge a five minute or so cameo but the lad was caught in possession four times when game still not secure and one of them led to Trezegeut free kick that could have lost us two points (with City game to come, plus Liverpool and Leicester away just could not afford this) . Good experienced pros do not make so many errors in such a short space of time whenever they come on in a game. This is not judging Rees overall as a player, we all think and hope he will be a great one for us.

JBS, Leicester is in the Fa cup. We have just City, Liverpool and Wolves as the top 10 teams left.

Yesterday's game showed what we lack to be a top side. CB who are calm at the back and full back's who could make an impact. Credit to azpi for the improvement he showed. But too many crosses not going past 1st man shows how bad it was. Alonso didn't even attempt many. With Giroud in the centre and villa sitting back we should have got more crosses in. Also Loftus cheek would have supported Giroud well if those crosses came in. In fact Loftus cheek headed the first cross wide.
