I'm so pleased that Chuka is going on loan and is not being sold. I hope he stays fit and gets plenty of game time at BD.
I have high hopes that he will prove how good a player he is in a blue Chelsea shirt next season.

Dortmund have an option to purchase so if he does well for them that's another we have let slip through our fingers.

Bill, we don’t have to take a pessimistic view.
I’m not happy that an option is part of the loan agreement but and this is a big but it would appear that the option to buy is HIGHER than his current Chelsea contract buy out clause.
To be honest I had no idea the lad had a buy out clause in his Chelsea contract.

With Lavia constantly injured and with Casadei gone to Torino didcwe need to. loan out Chucky? Given no recall of Santos our midfield options are potential starters Casadei and Enzo F and CP plus Felix ( if he stays) and EM pick KDH. A bit thin suddenly?

JBS, a lot will depend on injuries but we will still have a very deep squad. It’s a test for EM but if we don’t get Champs league then all levels of the club will be correctly criticised.
