I had decided to take a break from posting - though can I resists a comment after the SDouthamton match? we'll see - because like Jimbo I just seemed to be repeatring myself and things I'd worried about in terms of CFC management as long ago as last May/ June.
But thought I'd just say to you Tom that am sorry you're feeling so crap and just hope that your further treatment will go smoothly and at least hugely reduce that feeling.
To Jimbo: I very much liked and recognised your comparison of CFC with The Kinks rather than the Beatles back in those days. Spot on and not just cos of recognition/ poipularity levels or fact that KInks from London and Beatles from Merseyside but cos somehow their music got something of the cool feel of the club and style of football we played with Ossy and Alan and Charlie C etc. Even if Chopper may not have been quite up there in terms of Dedicated Follower of Fashion poster boy. And I think the band or the Davies brothers anyway were from north London (Haringay perhaps? ) .
Yes and I enjoy reading all the posts of course and thanks to all of you for them.

JBS, thanks for your comments regarding my health. I have just been told I will having the horrible procedure tomorrow. So hopefully I will be able to watch the game against Southampton.
I hope you will back posting asap. This is not me blowing smoke up your backside but I do find your posts one of the most enjoyable on this site.
I did see the Kinks live at the Marquee but I was also fortunate enough to be an extra in the Beatles film “A Hard Days Night. ” I was in the London theatre watching the Beatles all day and I got paid and fed.

Good luck tomorrow Tom and am sure all on here hope it will go well and that watching the Southampton game will bring a boost to your health not the opposite!
Must have been quite something to have been an extra in AHDN - and paid and fed to do it!

We all have differing views on our club at the moment but it's great to see how we band together when one of us are going through health problems, long may it continue.
