Glad common sense has prevailed, it would have been madness to sign another striker, just because of an injury to Delap. Bringing back Guiu easily makes the most sense.

It does J but let's face it it's not a good look, shows we did not take into account potential injuries despite the fact that we all were aware about the possibilities of injuries after the CWC.
It will be interesting to see if Maresca is happy about this move or did he want somebody more experienced.
There were already rumours, Maresca is unhappy with the business done in this window.

Jackson certainly better experience in EPL than Guiu plus had reasonable scoring record. But understandable that he would no easily play third fiddle to Delap and Pedro if particularly cos Delap younger and less experienced. Just hope Delapnisnt going to be another injury ravaged signing. Also that Guiu can take the chances he gets.
