Bobby Sanchez is, for me, the most improved Chelsea player this season by a country mile and is also starting to show some real leadership as well, the way he remonstrates with his defenders when they make mistakes and his constant organising and cajoling is setting him apart and has anyone seen that clip of him talking to the fans who were booing at half time telling them to calm down as we've got 45
minutes to fix this? they responded by clapping him, also, at the end, where he jumped in to protect Pedro from being eaten by that West Ham nutter showed great togetherness and character. I hear he is a real voice and influence in the dressing room as well.

He can still frustrate at times but he would be one of the last I would replace right now and just needs proper competition which hopefully Penders will provide.

bit OTT. he's improved a bit but he was one of the worst in the league so that's not saying much

still terrible with his feet, decent aerially, makes regular mistakes that cost goals and could definitely be improved on- would be fine having him on the bench as back up and rotation.

I agree he has improved a lot, however, the fact he is vocal and organizes a defense that is constantly disorganized isn’t a big W. I think he has earned the chance to stay at the club and compete against someone else for the no.1, but I don’t think we win the league with him between the sticks.

Just pleased he has improved. He may well carry on improving and that should make us all happy.

I don’t accept this Sanchez has improved a lot notion. The best I could say is that on occasions he isn’t as bad as he has been. He lacks composure and positional sense. As for remonstrating with defenders, that, in my view, is him trying to shift the blame for his own shortcomings.

The saves by him that are heralded by some on this site are ones that any half decent professional goalkeeper should make. I accept that there are no top class keepers around that we could acquire so I am pinning my hopes on Penders.

I can’t remember who said that we shouldn’t get too excited when a keeper makes a top save, “it’s his job. ”

Most fans, if not all the fans I speak to, believe he has improved. That doesn’t make
Him a top keeper but for a keeper he is young and could well improve more. Maybe, a late burner.

I would have had a large bet that my ST choice as POS would have been Caicedo but so far I have no idea who I will be voting for. Given some of the sh@t he has had thrown at him, I hope he has a blinding end of the season and I vote for him.
