ED01, Is it true that Dave Fallows has apparently grown in power behind the scenes and is helping with more of the key decisions for Chelsea?
If this is the case, Xabi Alonso has a good chance of accepting the job.
In terms of players, here are a few signings Fallows made while working in a similar position at Liverpool:
- Mo Salah
- Alisson
- VVD
- Sadio Mane
- Roberto Firmino
- Andy Robertson
All Legends of Liverpool. Hopefully, he has the same success with us.

Thankyou for the update ED01, Dave Fallows was head of scouting at Liverpool from 2012 to 2024 wasn't he? I presumed he must of been behind those signings but thankyou for the update. Maybe another dud we have brought in then!
{Ed001's Note - he was oversight of the scouting dept, and did a good job but Graham was responsible for much more and he actually understands football very well. I am not sure Fallows is a dud, but he is just nothing more than a chief scout really.}

Ed001, as always thanks for sharing your knowledge. This is what I have complaining about. The owners have recruited scouts as SDs rather that having one SD with vision and a knowledge of football.
The ownership and hierarchy do not have the skills and knowledge of how to build a successful team which is evidenced by their head coach appointments and most of their signings. We are doomed.
