I think Quenda could be a regular starter. I also think Sanchez will "start" as our No1 keeper.
As always, it will be interesting to see how Alonso uses his squad, particularly with no European football.

I wonder who will be the backup striker, or occasional up-front partner with Pedro? My choice would probably be Jackson, who could also be played out left if needed, as he was sometimes used at Seville and in pre-season by Pochettino.
But then I haven't seen Emegha, and I may be wrong to give up on Delap and Guiu. But perhaps the club want to sell Jackson. I assume Satpaev will be loaned, and may be Guiu too?

As I mentioned some time ago, Villa and Newcastle have both asked about Jackson. I also posted that Villa asked about Badiashile, but, much to my surprise, Alonso is apparently a long-standing fan of Badiashile, although I still can't see him staying at the club.
I'm personally ok with Jackson staying, particularly if our supposed asking price (£60m) isn't agreed.

Thanks, Tom. Had thought Villa may be interested, as Emery had apparently been a fan of his when managing NJ in Spain. Hadn't known that Newcastle has asked about him too.

Personally, I don't want to see Jackson or Sanchez anywhere near the starting lineup next season. Sell Jackson and let Sanchez warm the bench.

Some rumours today that Valentin Barco has agreed to sign and Spurs have offered Romero in a player exchange for Pedro Neto.

I can't see us wanting Romero, but I can see Neto leaving. Early on in the window, I was told Liverpool had made an inquiry about Neto.

Hopefully Neto does not leave. What a forward line, wingers we will have.
The forward line can be so fluid, I'm not sure teams could cope with them.
