With City apparently now showing a definite interest in Neto, maybe it will flush out some other interested clubs.
If City want to pay a significant premium, then so be it, but I would be happy for him to stay. Having said that it would be difficult to turn down £75m-£85m. ?

Whilst I quite like Neto, I think his end product is sadly lacking. Someone has to make way for all the new players we've bought, so I'd be happy to sell for over £70m tbf.

Tom, if we sell Neto for £70 million that profit of £16 million more than pays for D.Fofana and D.Washington who a certain poster likes to bring up all the time. I think the £40 million profit on Santos also covers just about any other loss as well.
I have said it before, these yankee's might not know anything bout soccer but sure do know how to a profit on buying and selling.

How about we don't sell Neto just to offset losses in other transfers.
How many players do we need to sell to offset the loss on no permanent FOS? I'm not sure where the good business by the owners comes in there.

Bill, if we do sell Neto, I don't think it's a book balancing exercise. I think it will be because the manager thinks we have sufficient cover, or we are going to play three at the back in most games.

Players are going for huge sums of money. Whoever stockpiled all the kids deserves a payrise. Paid a billion on prospects, probably worth double that now.

Tom, I think the regulator plays a large part in all of this, and far more clubs are starting to stockpile young talent. Blue.co may just be ahead of the game.

K, like a lot of things in life, there has maybe a tad of good fortune, with it almost being a new regulatory starting point, but yes, I agree, we now look to be slightly ahead of the game, signing so much young talent.
