Once if this kounde deal is signed and done. Is there a position we will be targeting next or are there always talks going on regarding players,

Tuchel is not the reason the club have Barkley, Batshuayi, Werner, Ziyech, Sarr, Alonso, Emerson, Kepa all on enormous wages, making them unsellable.
DOF needed urgently. Deadwood needs to be shipped out. Take whatever price you can get.
Should of done a Conte and not taken them on the tour - at least then they might try and shift themselves. No wonder all the youngsters want to go. They are looking at Guehi, Tomori, Lamptey, Musiala, Livramento and thinking "That'll be me with regular gametime. "
Still stand to my earlier comment: Tuchel will leave in September, the storm is already brewing up. Pochettino in by January as we never learn, never back a manager over players, never sell players below value because of being stubborn and fail to meet value because of penny-pinching.
New ownership needs to change approach and quickly, or I see us finishing 8th or worse.

Ed if your above update is the plan without actively looking to bring in a striker and other prolific attackers, I'm worried for the coming season. My point is that we have not addressed issues from last season which was lack of goals and even creativity. Tuchel should use this opportunity to fix the main issues with the squad. Not many coaches have had the opportunity to have this level of say in players recruitment.
Fact check. It's looking like tuchel wheels will soon be coming off and the ucl win hud his shortcomings. He has problems setting up the attack which explains why all our attackers have been below par and not improving. No big team in Europe lack firepower, except Chelsea and it's not even given attention. Tuchel is setting himself up for the axe except for change in the ownership and management which may not be as usual. At this rate tt may well be leaving sooner than expected. Imo I would like the return of conte looking at the kind of player we have.

Ed, do you know if after the defence is sorted, is there any plans to sign any more attackers or centre mids? Or is it a case of players must leave first? Apologies if this has been answered already, I searched and couldn't find the answer.

It’s took us so long to get things over the line and the kounde thing just seems like if Barcelona don’t put another bid in he will join us but if they do he will go there it’s a bit embarrassing really abit like de jong and united if he wanted to go he would just go, we want players that want to play for us but I don’t see what’s out there at minute forward wise osihmen and Leao maybe.

Both would make incredible signings especially oshimen but I imagine both will demand a large price and I think city have an Intrest in leao though I may be wrong.

RJ, don’t be so pessimistic, at the start of the season the PL table is in alphabetical order, this season Chelsea are sixth, that’s where we will end up.
