Ed002, does Rooney's revitalised performance today represent a 180, and a desire to stay at MU or do you think our deal is still on the cards and it was kind of an audition, a stake for a 1st team start at the mighty blues?
Ps SO good to have you back, thanks for all your work on the site! {Ed002's Note - I really have no idea.}

As a Chelsea fan and a doctor this whole discussion is stupid.
Jose was p****d that the result, and some decisions, didn't go our way so he deflected as he usually does.
I absolutely love mourinho and he's done it again. how many people are focusing on our stuttering performance?
As for Eva, she did absolutely the right thing. Being a doctor is perhaps the only time when a player can be bigger than a club; it's your duty to do right for your patient, not their employer, so you have to ignore what might be best for the team/club and do your job. It's a shame Eva has been brought into this but maybe that's because Jose knows she can handle it. I hope it doesn't spell the end for her.

Again, and what about the other doctor Jon Fearn? You regret that he will probably have his job altered? Is it a shame that he was "subject to Mourinho's rage"?
Yes Mourinho was pissed off, but apparently his frustration with the medical department has some deeper roots, so to speak. Not just past weekend.

Yeah sorry I was referring to the whole medical team involved, just focused on Eva as she seems to be the poster girl of this latest anti Chelsea campaign.
As far as I can see it, both parties have a good point but the furore that often surrounds mourinhos comments has been taken to a new level.
I wish the press would find something constructive to write about, but that's not their game unfortunately

Ed002 it's awesome to see you back on this page, though I understand you won't comment on Chelsea transfers due to idiotic trolls who are likely not Chelsea fans or perhaps were to be found on the Paris metro. I hope you appreciate how much true fans value you, and although abuse is never taken lightly, I feel I speak for everyone when I say that you are truly a compassionate and dedicated football person. not disrespecting ed018s contribution of course!
I don't have a question for you, but as an avid visitor of the page and occasional poster I wanted to convey the gratitude of all true Chelsea fans. KTBFFH!

Gratitude towards every editor who helps run these sites as they're amazing. Never have I read so much objective information with regards to football, not just transfers. I can honestly say I've learnt a lot by reading the pages here.
So indeed, thanks to every editor, with special mention for Ed018 lately. Absolutely FANTASTIC work on these sites, well done!

Three things;
The assist for franks first premier league goal for us
His last game was the win over Liverpool that qualified us for the champions league and without which abramovic might not have bought the club
Drogba scored his first goal for us in his testimonial

One name;
Zola

Oh yes

Hi everyone,
I was just re-watching the 12/13 season review, when super frank scored number 203 (and I'm not ashamed to say I shed a tear each time I see it) and got to thinking; our generation has seen so many great moments, didier's penalty, franks league winning goal against Bolton, di matteo's fa cup super start, zola's twisted blood against the dons, drubbing barca at the bridge a couple of times. We have also witnessed true heroes and legends of the club. I, sadly, am too young to have seen ossie and chopper in their prime but have met them several times and even played for their academy. I just wanted to give a shout out to players who are not considered legends necessarily but have contributed great things to the super blues; ivanovic, jfh and the like. Was just wondering who people would put in this class of Chelsea greats who.deserve our thanks.

Ballack was an awesome player

2.) Paulo Ferreira, Carvalho, Essien, Cudicini and Luiz( have to love the guy)

3.) Oh crap almost forgot Joe Cole. Love that dude.

4.) Makelele for me pure class

5.) Dennis wise, tore Andre flo, makelele, but for me growing up my idol was Zola. the guy was pure class! The newer looking chelsea team has plenty of legends in the making that's for sure!

6.) The rock

All good shouts guys, thanks.

8.) Gudjohnson!

9.) Gudjohnson. good shout!

Super Dan petrescu!

By saying ballack I even meant that he was so underrated in world level as I think he was one of his best in his position in the whole world

Sound fairly sensible moves. Would like to see De Bruyne stay, although I think too much is being expected of him for the game time he gets. Maybe another loan spell will better his footballing maturity. Failing this I would like to see an attempt made to sign Draxler.
Otherwise the above deal in the next two windows would certainly better our squad.

Infrequent poster here, but LONG time reader and appreciator of this site and all that the Eds kindly share with us.

Seems to be a recurrent theme each transfer window and it's such a shame. I saw the post and it was good to see Ed giving some back!

The rest of us really appreciate everything you Eds do for us!

Ed018, I'd venture Sutton as a worse player for Chelsea. I once had a conversation with King Ossie and he told me he'd never seen a poorer striker in all his years.
As for plastic fans, any regular posters on here no matter how young are due respect. I've been a fan for 31 years and love having banter with the younger guys at games. it's the people who DON'T have any passion we should worry about. From reading this site Jackson deserves some slack.

Lampsy_8 has it spot on (almost). I love Dave but put Petrescu in there and that's a killer team.

Not sure what formation though, 4-2-2-2?
