ed 01 how good is kai havertz have you seen much of him, Chelsea certainly aren't messing around in this window.
{Ed001's Note - he is a very good player, had a down period this season, but he is a young player and that happens. One of the better prospects around in his position. If he signs, I would expect him to be a very good replacement for Loftus-Cheek and a sign that his back injury is as bad as was feared and make it impossible for him to ever be the player he should have been.}

sounds good ed, what's haverts main position is he cm? Chelsea really seem to mean business in this market and great to see frank getting such a backing by roman. Imagine if chelsea end the window with chilwell werner ziyech and havert part of the squad wow it has certainly been many yesrs since we would of made such a bold statement to our rivals in the market.
Whats your thoughts on ziyech werner and chilwell ed do you think they would fit in well i no you spoke of werner on here recently and said it depends on his position. do you expect competiton for havertz especially if bayern fail to buy sane.
{Ed001's Note - Havertz is more of an attacking midfielder, but can play in central midfield. I am not convinced Chilwell would be a good choice, he has a similar attitude problem to Barkley. The quality is there but he has got far too big for his boots and I would say steer well clear. I expect the others to fit in well and make a significant difference to the team's competitiveness. I am not convinced Bayern would be able to compete with you for Havertz, Bayer would prefer to sell away from their rivals for one. Secondly he has said in the past that he would like to play in the Prem.}

In your genuine opinion Ed do you see it potentially happening then? Trying not to get over excited as are most chelsea fans but it’s absolutely everywhere at the moment.

amazing feed back ed thank you. attacking mid also means that it allows mount to also be rotated on the wings if needed we seem to be building a great group here at chelsea and adidng top class like werner and ziyech and a potential superstar in havertz looks extremely promising for our long term future. is there any other options left back if chilwell doesn't work out. is that lad telles still an option.
{Ed001's Note - Havertz could probably, in need, play wide too in a similar way to Mount. Not his prime position but I am sure he is capable of filling in there. There are not many options at left-back around right now, there is a dearth of good ones around in the game. It might be time to just stay with what you have for now or look to the youth system.}

interesting to hear bayern couldn't compete with us financially also and that bayern l would rather sell abroad than to a rival like bayern and watch 1 of there ex players potentially help bayern dominate for years to come even more so.
{Ed001's Note - I didn't say they couldn't compete financially, I am not sure about their finances off the top of my head. But clubs like Bayer and Dortmund hate to see their players go to Bayern. In Germany you are either a Bayern fan or you hate them.}

ah sorry ed i get you know, makes sense could be a really outstanding season for chelsea fans, i no an option could be alex sandro for emerson swap deal that could tie us over for a while until a long term option pops up, think sandro could still do a job for us if he came in? interesting to see what happens with jorginho also looks like he could potentially be off loaded, do you expect kante to stay seems to be sepculation of him all through the season be a strange 1 to sell him unless frank thinks he has enough in kova glimour barkley loftus cheek and havert and potentially mount although im fully aware all the named players are pretty much more of an attacking style.

It will depend on Kante, but I certainly don't expect the club to look to sell him, but also not to stand in his way if he wants to go. However he is not being used to his best, so it would be understandable if he was sold.}

i seen fans moaning about the ckib going after havertz amd asking why not sancho on twitter isn't that something along the lines of sanchos agent looking for stupid amounts of money for agency fees in any transfers? why would you complain when wev went after werner and havertz anyway sancho is good but so are havertz and werner trypical foot fans.

what do you believe is kantes best position and does certain formation suit him ed?
{Ed001's Note - he just needs to play with freedom in the centre of midfield. I don't think there is an issue playing in any formation, you just have to fit the others around him. It makes no sense not to do so as he is the best player. You put the best players in a position that makes the most of their abilities and then fit the team and formation around them. I think it would actually help the team if he was given that little shift to the centre from the right side. He offers more to the team from the centre, not just defensively, but offensively too. You don't want him wide putting crosses in, it is not his skillset.}

i agree ed i believe he is our only world class player right now and the current and previous managers are not using him correctly its a bit mind boggling to be honest but i also wpuldnt be surprised if he left . i hope we see a bit more of gilmour this season iv never been as excited as i am with gilmour he looks care free and so intelligant for a kid. playing kante out of position is mind boggling do makes no sense. what do you reckon will end up happening with sancho it looks likely hel stay for now no club seems to want to go near that price tag.

Just writing to say that I'm really glad that we've got to great Eds on this page in Ed 01 and Ed 02 and that I appreciate the fact that both of you still stick with us even though some idiots are giving you abuse!
