Hi Eds, Jimbo 56 here. I am unable to post as comes back as "post failed, try again " I have tried various fixes but none have worked. I tried to re-register but it comes back as bad request. Any suggestions?

{Ed033's Note - If you can't post, then it would make sense to use the contact form as if the posting forms aren't working for you, i will never find out.

Maybe as this posting form worked, it is ok now?

Btw anyone on mobile.chelsearumours.co.uk should now use https://chelsearumours.co.uk

I have problems with new messages. I put it down to an "age thing." ?.

20 Oct 2026 14:51:57
Age is only a number Tom.

20 Oct 2026 18:16:12
A bloody big one in my case Bill.

20 Oct 2026 18:24:23
Welcome back Jimbo. Tom, do you remember many many years ago on this site when someone suggested we all put our ages next to our names on this page? and we all did it as well.

20 Oct 2026 21:28:17
I have assumed, probably wrongly, that Jimbo is 70 and Bill is 75. I am just a bit older.

21 Oct 2026 09:31:57
Tom

I was born in November 1955, I will be 71 next month. Still a spring chicken lol.

21 Oct 2026 12:37:11
Bill, yes you are a spring chicken. I just assumed it was 1951 and not 1955. Silly me.

21 Oct 2026 15:49:05
Tom,

It happens to us all lol.

In my opinion so far this season we haven't played as well as I think we can. Yes, we have had moments but we haven't dominated teams the way on want to see.

Having said that and as I right this post we are just three points from the team top of the premiership (Brighton) having completely lost our way pre the international break.

Just one other small point, who thought it was a good idea for us to play the Spuds at 5.30pm?

19 Oct 2026 14:51:00
It will take time Tom for Alonso to bed his ideas in and as fans we need to be patient and watch the side grow, Caicedo was a huge miss at the start of the season and I now think young Henderson also fits into that bracket! Having those 2 in that midfield pivot has made a huge difference and hopefully another midfielder comes in January.

I have been very impressed with Josh at the back and Neto at wing back and our front 3 is as good as any other in the Premier League.
The fluency will come over time and providing players stay fit and focused top 4 is a very realistic target.

With Martinez now being out for 6-8 weeks with a fractured jaw, it creates a fantastic opportunity for Penders. Good luck to the lad.

18 Oct 2026 12:51:46
Totally agree Tom.

18 Oct 2026 16:52:53
Think he will be a top keeper hope its not a bit early but once he gets going I think Penders may be hard to dislodge.

Regarding the Man Cheaty issue.

Andy Burnham has come up with a solution.

If Cheaty are relegated to the EFL, he is going to request that they get an early release back to the prem as the EFL is overcrowded already.

Standard,

I'm the original Bill1955, I could not send any posts so I have set up another username.

I actually advised Tom when it happened as I thought people might think that i was an impersonator.

Sorry if I have confused you.

17 Oct 2026 15:43:54
There is only one "Bill.".

17 Oct 2026 15:45:53
Cheers Tom,

17 Oct 2026 16:47:08
