Think Ed mentioned on a page that it's likely that Reus would be moving to Bayern during the summer, as they want him and apparently he's set on joining them.

If it helps Ed002 mentioned on my post that the club may be looking at José Callejón has a possible replacement for Drogba this would solve two issues has I believe he can also play RW so could be a smart choice.

Callejon will not be joining, you can bet your house on that. What Ed doesn't seem to understand that club and Mourinho for that matter don't see forwards=strikers. Ed thinks the club see Callejon as a forward which in his mind means a striker which is wrong. Callejon IS a forward (AM) but he's NOT a striker and that's why he won't be joining us.

{Ed002's Note - Callejon is one of the players Chelsea has been looking at. I apologise for sharing anything like that with you as I am obviously again wasting my time.}

Mihel8, why do you even think that you know what Ed thinks? Seriously, that's one of the stupidest posts I've read in a long time. Stop ruining it for the rest of us on here, please just stop. I think I speak for about everyone here when I say that we can live without such nonsense. If Ed says Chelsea have looked at him, then I'd dare put my house on it that they actually did.

Why on earth do you feel the need to post such a pointless comment,If for whatever reason you or others feel has though the information Ed has given is wrong then keep it to yourself some of us respect the FACT he has real information and his opinion do you want him to leave again because I for one do not. Obviously thoroughly agree with all said by Jackson and Lampsey_8 here. Ed002 is much admired by all decent folk on this site == proper CFC supporters. You are the/a prime reason why so many came of us came to the site and stayed (though I hasten to add that we of course value contributions of other Eds too!).

Not only is dismissing the Ed's input dumb but also where have you drawn this conclusion that the club and Mourinho doesn't see forwards as equalling strikers? They see each player for their own merits and versatility. Take for example Schurrle, he's been used more of a 2nd striker on some occasions he plays whereas others, such as Willian, take a traditional wingers' role. Then there's Ramires who is played in the attacking three but mainly drops back to form a deep three with the two holding mids. In none of these instances is the management or club categorising players to the extent you seem to think.

Furthermore, Callejon can play as a striker, has done for Napoli and Real Madrid, which was additionally under Jose, so where has this idea come from?

Ok, thanks for taking the time to reply. I would be interested to know the thoughts of other CFC followers to see what area of the field you would like to be improved in terms of a first eleven? My thoughts as above stated would be the right wing position, and as Ed stated if we are tracking Callejon then does he really add much to the team? If we were to buy I would of thought I more high profile or talented player?
