Supposedly after Richarlison from Fluminense - wow - only 20 but what a talent. Fingers crossed.

1.) 23 Jul 2017 12:09:36
is he really that good? i just watched about 45 minutes of him on you tube and even on there i didn't think he was that good, he didn't look as good as all the youngsters we already have.

2.) 23 Jul 2017 21:23:48
Do we need another non hg 20 yo?

Today's game summed up in 1 word: Lucky.

1.) 21 Oct 2017 19:28:23
That’s why we’re CHAMPIONS.

2.) 21 Oct 2017 20:17:29
We need some of lastyears luck and ot was with is today.

So it seems from the media over the last few days that in January we are going to buy Sanchez, Sandro, Pastore, Thomas Muller, Van Dijk, Barkley, Donsah, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Gustavo Viera, Ghoulam, Dael Fry, as well as Antone Griessmann next summer! LoL.

1.) 06 Oct 2017 16:26:57
No mention of Kane or Messi? Surely Costa is on his way back and Jose is taking over from Conte!
Oh and in case they don’t mention it, Roman is nationalising the club, donating all the proceeds to the retired journalist benevolent fund.

Our net transfer spend in 2017 is less than £10m - City's is £134m and United's is £138m - money talks and it had a lot to say yesterday.

1.) 01 Oct 2017 12:55:32
Miss wood i think you have it wrong in a way. We need a nother striker that wecan depend on if Morata doesn't play at all. I think our dept is not bad and our qualityis equally as good as any other team.

2.) 01 Oct 2017 13:21:13
Chelsea4life, weren't you watching yesterday!?

3.) 02 Oct 2017 15:43:12
I have said this for the fifth time (and keep getting thumbs down) that Chelsea should have traded in Batshuayi for a more capable and young striker like Belotti. Now that Morata is absent or going to be absent, I don't understand why people are doubting Batshuayi's ability to carry on from where Morata stopped?

Miss Darren wood, if what you posted about our Net spend is true, then it shouldn't take rocket science to deduce what's going to happen. We didn't consider what our opponents were doing in the transfer window.

I PRAY THINGS WILL WORK OUT FOR US AND BATSHUAYI WILL COME GOOD.

4.) 02 Oct 2017 21:15:59
Over the last few years the Chelsea business model has changed dramatically.
I'm not sure if this is because of FFP, the potential new stadium or some other reason!
We should be happy that we continue to win silverware while the club is being run in a very prudent/ successful way.
Plus, never forget that we owe it all to Roman!

Well that was embarrassing - City made us look like a pub team! Just this week I praised Conte's tactical nous but Conte yesterday decided pre-match that City were too good and we needed an extra defender; that Willian should replace Morata; at a goal down that Hazard should come off - all tactical errors to my mind.
How Fabregas stayed on is beyond me - City played around him the whole game while he looked on desperately. Cahill is a good defender but not good enough on the ball at this level - he would be perfect for Tony Pulis. Babayoko is a good prospect and will be good enough in 2019/ 20 season - When is Drinkwater fit? Alonso is a squad player at best as City demonstrated. number 22 your time is up - unlike many on here, I have not been a Willian Borges da Silva basher - but how he starts ahead of Pedro only Conte knows.

1.) 01 Oct 2017 22:19:49
We've had better days.
Let's put it behind us and believe that Conte will set the side up in a more offensive shape against teams who like to press high up the pitch!

Mendy out. And now it looks like Aguero is out. All going our way.

1.) 29 Sep 2017 14:52:39
Hi MDW, Do you think their absence will make a lot of difference?

2.) 29 Sep 2017 15:15:10
Morata also. maybe.

3.) 29 Sep 2017 16:05:56
Nahhh! Morata is fit.

I doubt if Hazard will be allowed to leave next summer - his contract expires 2020 - it will be the summer after. Conte will leave next summer.

Blueboy, Christensen was at fault for 2 of the Roma goals - he's not ready to play as 1st choice.

Obinna, I think it's about better movement by TA not necessarily work rate.

There are pros and cons with Wembley. The negative is that playing at Wembley is always a big thing for opposing teams and players and they raise their game accordingly. But the promise of being able to offer Wembley as a home for 4 seasons would attract every player in the World. Still a nightmare to get to / from though.

I really don't understand the mentality of RLC - he has everything to be a top player - skill, build, height, pace - but it seems that he's not willing to work for the team - it's all about him - and we know that the best managers (Conte, Mourinho) demand work-rate. RLC is in danger of being another Sturridge - great skill but poor attitude. Someone needs to box his ears!

One for the teenagers: Belotti reminds me of Tony Cottee - and Tony Cottee was never good enough for Chelsea even when we were shite!

I would also love it but it's unrealistic unfortunately. When do de Bruyne and Bertrand's contracts expire?!
