I wonder if Chelsea want to swap Guiu for Emegha in January? If Guiu even plays one second of football for us before then, he can't go to Strasbourg this season, because you can't play for 3 clubs in a season. Just a thought?

Yes this may well be a possibility being contemplated I'd think RPD. Yes Guiu it seems will only play in an extreme emergency if at all - if a serious injury to Pedro perhaps though not cos of his red card suspension!? - and there have been those rumours of Emegha comin in January rather than in the Summer. But this does reveal big weakness in current squad until the New Year . when Delap should be back too but quite serious hamstring injuries often easily re-triggered.
George mot a striker and if anything should probably used ahead of Gittens but after Garnacho on the left wing imho.

Going forward I think Guiu will play a part in the domestic cup competitions.

You may be right Tom but not sure given rumour about how he might then not be able to be loaned out in January. But perhaps this rumour not true and does seem crazy to have him back at the clkub if he's not gong to be used at all except as last resort.

JBS, I think there is a three team rule but I’m not sure how it’s applied. Is it actually “playing” for three teams?
Also and I may be wrong, was Guiu eventually un cupped tied for league cup competition? If that makes sense.

I think it's playing for three teams Tom. I guess he may have been cup tied in Carabao Cup?
