I believe we are ready to challenge again especially if we sign a world class GK and decent back up for Marc C?

RPD, I personally waited until the end of the season and the gave my assessment about him, the owners, SD’s and players. I was honoured that the Ed’s presented it as an “article” ish.
My view on EM went against so many on this site. The same applies to the SD’s and owners. I will continue to be critical but also give praise. Like you I believe we have a strong squad, that will be challenging at the top table.
We have a young academy LB I think called Samuel’s-Smith who some people say looks like a class act. I’m also told they he may be going out on loan. So, I assume that we may well go with a Gusto can cover attitude or maybe the young defender from Ajax who can play both LCH and LB. I assume we will sell Veiga.

Have you watched the games RPD there’s nothing really changed we won last night but didn’t really threaten, still individual good moments getting us by.

I think we are looking more flexible and that is down to the gaffer, he seems to know what he wants and who he wants and hopefully he is backed by the SD's.

There is nothing better in football than a true “team” goal.
It’s probably me but over the twenty odd years positive results have become more and more reliant of moments of individual brilliance. In recent times there were plenty of times when we relied on a moments of Hazard and Zola magic.
I was very critical of EM’s lack of tactical flexibility for a period of last season but he certainly changed things and those last 6/ 8 games. Also, in the CWC he has changed our shape “slightly” from game to game but also during a game. I hope he continues with the less predictable tactics for season’s tournaments.
