Chelsea 8-0 Wigan.
What a fantastic day out that was!
A mate told me the other day that the only times a title winning side have won the league while scoring over 100 goals or more are all within the last 15 years. I think he said it had happened six times.
Our best is apparently 103 goals with 68 scored at home!

A glorious game that was just such a wonderfully fitting climax to a glorious goal-fest season presided over by King Carlo and his expressive eyebrows. Defintion of a Blue Day and one of the best ever at Stamford Bridge. So great to be able to relax in te second half and simply enjoy our lads demonstrating why they were the best in England. Exhibition football including DD hat-trick and volleyed goal from Ashley C. I loved it and celebrations afterwards. even if my head didn't much enjoy life the next morning!
