Two wonderful goals from Rice last night and the gooners third wasn't bad either.
Strangely, virtually all of my many gooner mates have been saying that Rice hasn't performed to the same levels as last season.
I think Barcelona are the team to beat in the Champions League this season.

I did not bother you watch the game last night Tom, to be honest I seldom di until the semi's and final, depending on who are in them.
Apart from his free kicks, how was the rest of his game? .
The Arsenal games I have watched this season, showed him as being a passenger.

Bill, the first half was very well balanced with both teams working hard to nullify the other. The strang thing was Rice and Modric following each other all over the pitch. Modric (should have been a Chelsea player) is one of my favourites and certainly Arsenal gave him a huge amount of respect but I would have set Rice free from the task of almost man marking him. I see Rice as being a far better box to box player, I think in that row he is really influential.
The second half the gooners were far the better side with Courtois making some good saves.
It’s stupid but I found myself being sad for Carlo. I think this may well be his last season at Real Madrid.

I think you are right Tom, I believe he is one Europen game away from an announcement to be made on his departure.

As I understand it Carlo is lined up for the Brazilian national team. I think PSG will win the CL they have good energy and team spirit.
