After the first leg I wondered if the gooners had missed their chance having been so dominant and only walking away with a one goal advantage to take to the Emirate's.
As we have got closer to the game I'm now very uneasy about us achieving a positive result.
We got bullied in the first leg and outnumbered in midfield. I would put an extra man in the midfield, preferably Santos but my guess is it will be James. Obviously a shame Estavao will not be playing tonight because he caused them lots of problems. My guess is Palmer will start out wide but then tuck into the middle giving us two number tens.
Anyway, COME ON MY MIGHTY BLUES.

Arsenal will be firm favourites with bookies and pundits you'd think and rightly so given form, greater probeven depth of squad, and fact they have 9ne goal advantage and are at home. So. my expectations not v high to put it mildly. I presume we will also be without Estevao. Not sure when he will return from Brazil and am sure we all wish the lad well with his ' personal problem.
But we all know that football turms up surprise results and am obviously hoping this will be one of them and we can build on our recent come back wins. But we have to. play better in first half tomight than we did in them!

I think it is a free hit for Liam tonight Tom as nobody expects us to get to the final and as you rightly say they bullied us all over the pitch in that first leg and if it wasn't for the brilliance of Garnacho we would already be out of it!

I’m feeling somewhat fortunate I don’t get access to league cup games over here to be honest. We have had a great second halves of late, but don’t expect much for this second leg. It’s likely our best chance at a trophy this year though.
Hopeful Josh gets a start and has a good showing.

whilst they are favourites- if we play at our best, no reason we can't beat them - the one goal gap means its all to play for. not expecting to go through but really want to see a good performance. and most importantly want caicedo to right the wrong of the last game he played against them.
