A huge disappointment last night, we looked so passive and almost frightened to give it a go which allowed Arsenal to control the game. And since when has Delap been a winger? Grass greener? Who knows but that was piss poor from Rosenoir.

Sorry Greenaway disagree. Arsenal are accepted as “best in class” atm. I thot LR respected that in terms of breaking the game down into two halves. They went in 0-0 at HT. I’m thinking ok, I can live with that. Second half I thot the Chelsea possession was decent, they played with good tempo and accuracy. I accept that in the final third it was extremely difficult and Chelsea looked blunt. But Arsenal had players literally stumbling in the way as opposed to being tactically in shape. little slide passes, flicks and step overs were not happening due to congestion.
As a side issue I also thot the ref let Arsenal away with murder, blocks pulls trips stealing yards all little things that keeps momentum stifled. The Chelsea free kick in the dying minutes where the Arsenal wall moved from 10 yards to 6 yards was unbelievable, why Cole hit it without getting it remeasured I’ll never know. Particularly given that it was that clown Kepa in the sticks. Fair bit of sour grapes in there I accept. I suppose The truth is, Chelsea lost it at SB.

It still comes down to the fact that LR has had little or no time to work with the players let alone a pre-season.
Not quite sure what people are expecting in such a short space of time.
