Clubs will vote on VAR, hopefully they use mudryk being concussed off the ball and no red card given as a reason why it's a failure, it is the ones using / refereeing the VAR but it doesn't help, it is clear and obvious and the ones on var duty can't get anything right, just seen amrabat leave holes in back of Gordon's socks and VAR couldn't watch the replays and see it, too busy watching casermiro and not seen it, unreal.

Few bits from city page - Chelsea were mentioned couple other times but these seemed more of an interest, hopefully we
Can get our own update when we has the time

Miguel Gutierrez (LWB) Moved to Girona from Real Madrid who retain a nominal 50% of his rights and can buy him back for a fixed fee of double what they sold him for - so €8M total. Bayern Munich fear losing Alphonso Davies and have Gutierrez as their first choice replacement if that happens. Chelsea have spoken to Girona about the player and Manchester City have sent scouts.

Ben Chilwell (LB) Wanted by Manchester City bfore injury hit him. Chelsea will resist a sale unless the player pushes. Seems unlikely.

Federico Dimarco (LWB) Wanted by Chelsea who have declared an interest as they are well stocked with youngsters whilst the experienced players are struggling. Manchester City have also been scouting the player.

Giorgio Scalvini (CB/ DM) Chelsea, Manchester City, Inter, Spurs, Juventus and Southampton have shown an interest in the young centre back who has also covered for Koopmeiners as a DM. Southampton can be discounted, and probably Spurs with the Italian management gone. Napoli and Atletico offer wildcard options. Manchester City will push

Lucas Paqueta (AM/ CM) He may depart in the summer with Manchester City still trying to strike a deal knowing Bernardo Silva may leave.

Luis Guilherme (AM) Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Barcelona have shown an interest in the player for next summer. However, a new contract and a €60M release clause will prove to be an issue for most clubs but Chelsea may push.

Xavi Simons (CM/ AM) PSG will talk to the player and assure him of game time and tell him he is not for sale. Barcelona would like him back but would need to persuade PSG to take players in exchange. Manchester City see him as another potential de Bruyne replacement. Agent has spoken with Chelsea but the asking price is likely to be €100M. RBL would like another loan

Estevao Willian (RW/ F) Another kiddie scouted by Manchester City and Arsenal. Chelsea have made a proposal to take him in 2025 when he turns 18. Real Madrid will likely do the same. I expect an agreement with Chelsea.

Artem Dovbyk (S) Joined Girona in the summer of 2023 with the City Group planning on possibly moving him to Manchester City if all goes well. Chelsea and Arsenal have had scouts watch him but both have preferred targets. Potential Broja replacement for Chelsea.

Chelsea have scored 100 goals this season
-Moved from 12th to 6th
-Last season we were 37 points behind 4th, now 8 points behind Villa (4th) this season
-The last time a Chelsea player scored 20 league goals was Diego costa ( 14, 15 season) Palmer has 22 this season
-spurs were tipped to win the league at a point, Chelsea are 3 points behind them

You can give credit to a manager while not rating him, and I'm doing just that, I was in the Poch out camp but now feel he deserves another season. The recruitment team have done a remarkable job with a number of signings and I'm trusting them to find the next gems to complete the squad. Patience was always key and I'm sure most on here will agree there has been huge improvement at the club this season and we are not far off sitting at that top table again.

I think he’s done an amazing job tbf. Yeah the first half of the season wasn’t great but trying to impose a new philosophy/ tactic onto relatively inexperienced players who are entirely new to each other, was always going to take time. Time for players to build chemistry with each other and learn what runs/ passes each other makes etc. The most injuries in all of Europe also compounded how much harder it’s been and the fact the injuries were mostly to our most experienced players (Chilwell, Nkunku, James) having to play Colwill at left back as both Cucu and Chilwell were out then to have to play Cucu at RB a couple weeks later as both James and Gusto out etc. Trying to embed a philosophy amongst all of that must truly have been a struggle.

There are of course some massive disappointments. The cup final being the biggest. Also not playing Maatsen imo was a mistake.

Anthony Taylor is the ref for our last game of the season.

I wonder what he will contrive to c@ck up in this important Chelsea game!

Is this bloke Stefan Borson totally obsessed with CFC?

I can't believe that the club haven't taken advice in some of the comments/ accusations this guy continues to make.

Tom,

This is the same bloke who worked for Man City prior to the 115 charges however he feels they should will not be found guilty as they are very clever and will tie the lawyers up in knots. He is quite happy for them to get away with the charges.

A total humpty.

Great win last night. They've only lost twice this season at home to City and Arsenal.

Thought Caicedo was outstanding again, he's been fantastic over the past month or two.

Disappointed in James, that's not what a captain does.

Boy how we've missed Nkunku. The guy just oozes class. His skill and touch is unreal and he adds creativity and goal threat we've been lacking. Imagine if he was fit all season, we'd probably be challenging for 4th.

Need a strong finish on Saturday against a good Bournemouth side. Cement that European place.

Moises is a fantastic footballer and I have been saying that all season, he was covering so much ground with Enzo beside him but now he has Conor it really is freeing him up to do what he does best. I think the plan was probably to pair him and Lavia together at the start of the season. I agree about Nkunku, what a player. We have been the 4th best side in the league since Boxing Day.

Totally agree Dan. Those two draws against Burnley and Sheffield were absolute back-breakers. We should be putting the heat on Villa now for the 4th CL spot. But I suppose we have stolen a few points throughout the season so maybe I need to take off the blue-tinted glasses.

29 passes in the move that Nkunku scored from, really positive signs.

Fingers crossed Gusto was off as a precaution and will be able to play on Sunday.

Agreed Dan, we were in complete cruise control until James’s red card although Im still baffled how James got sent off and Lamptey didn’t for his assault on Mudryk.

Moises is a baller and is going to get better and better and I think its the first time Nkunku looks like he's fully match fit, so excited to see him next year.

So happy to see us ending the season on a real high.

Great win last night, but very disappointing from Recce James.

As our Capt he should be setting the standard. He has played a grand total of 421 minutes of football this season and been sent off twice, 50% more sending offs than any other player. It has been discussed about a lack of authority from Poch causing discipline issues. In fact, it appears to be our petulant Capt.

I would be surprised if he goes to the Euros.

16 May 2024 07:35:14
I may be wrong but I think it’s James third red card this season. One I think was when he was in the bench injured and couldn’t play anyway.

I sill think Southgate will pick him for the Euros.

He needs some games as he is going to miss our first two games of next season.

He reacted that way because he has just returned from injury and probably felt the tackle from Joao Pedro could have put him out again, still no excuse to react in that way but he is human at the end of the day.

16 May 2024 09:24:43
He can get those games in pre season with us Tom, not worried about England and he probably would mot get many minutes if any so he might as well go away and relax and continue his fitness build up.

Bill, I would start James at RB for England and play walker alongside Stones.

I think Ben White is currently the best RB for England. That ship has sailed, but Southgate should be trying to get him on board.

16 May 2024 16:53:45
Southgate is probably taking Walker and Trippier just like he always does 😂 I’d expect Maguire and Shaw to be there too. Probably Rashford. Not expecting much from England this summer as Southgate is far too set in his ways and never seems willing to take a slight risk outside of his favourite players.

I thought Ben White had ruled himself out of playing for England.

This is probably due to the tournament being played in the summer!

I can't remember how long it's been since we got a win at Brighton. Certainly in recent years is hasn't been a happy hunting ground for the mighty blues.

Like most games recently, I'm no more than hopeful for another win tonight. They have just got a good draw against Newcastle after a string of poor results.

Anyway, COME on MY MIGHTY BLUES.

15 May 2024 19:10:17
Yes and Brighton may well think they have a thing or two to prove against a side is CFC that has two of their ex-players in likely starting line-up.

I was at the Amex when we thumped them 4-0, Hazard at his best, but that was about six years ago. Hasn't ever been that easy since.

15 May 2024 19:40:03
Speaking of Hazard, apparently we will receive £5 million because Madrid have reached the CL final as part of his contract that was due to expire this summer. Eden the gift that keeps giving.

Great win. Utter, utter stupidity from James. Terrible refereeing all game. Caicedo, Gusto, Palmer, Cucu (! ), Chalobah all immense. Jackson. the sublime and the farcical, as always. We'd have lost that game three months ago once Reece was sent off. Whisper it, but we're actually starting to look like a half decent team. Boehly and co, if you're reading this: Please don't sell Trev.

Have to say VAR had a shocker tonight imo. Completely inconsistent throughout the whole match. James petulant kick out is something we see red cards for, but it was right in front of De Zerbi and he didn’t even appeal for it. Then on the other hand, Mudryk gets completely taken out off the ball, has to be subbed off for a concussion and VAR clears it? Not to mention all the other errors imo tonight.

I can't think of any circumstance when I would want my club to get stuffed. So the pre and post match comments from the spuds fans was a shock to me, although I did find it funny.

The post match comments from Ange were for me very telling and in my opinion showed passion and honesty.

If it went down to last game of the season and Man City had to beat us to win the league and if they didn’t Tottenham or Arsenal would win it I’d honestly want us to lose.

I know that sounds pathetic but that's how much I despise both of them.

15 May 2024 10:25:33
But a narrow defeat which stopped Arsenal winning the title when we had nothing to play for wouldn't exactly devastate me and would infuriate the Arsenal fans!

15 May 2024 11:38:43
If big Ange has such a problem with attitude and the relationship with winning, instead of playing a high line and gung-ho football that’s cost them more times than the fans not supporting fully for one game then his a hypocrite and playing a part as a winner rather than being a winner, winners play and change, adapt and do whatever to win,

We’ll attack with 7 player mate
We don’t need to practice set plays, mate
This is our philosophy, mate

November - Coaches who moan about wanting more players, just train harder, mate

April - there’s a lot of players here that just can’t play the way we want and expect so we will have to speak shout that come end of season mate,

Passive aggressive media darling manager telling the fans how to feel against their biggest rival when he lost last 4/ 5 games is hilarious, the fans didn’t get them over the line v city but it didn’t work b Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle,

Imagine Poch blaming fans.

15 May 2024 13:37:06
I think most Spurs fans were just having a bit of fun. It's a pretty unique circumstance in which a loss doesn't really impact them - sure they lost out on the CL, but the way the people have been going on have made it seem like City would normally have no hope of beating them. The chance of Spurs overtaking Villa were as slim as ours of overtaking Spurs.

Nobody with any authority said the Spurs players were not going to try to win, so I have no idea why the media have latched onto this angle in the way they did. Other than to try and create some intrigue around the best team in Europe playing a team who had lost 5 of their last 6.

I like Ange and to me it seems like he is just sending a message internally that he's about winning.

Agree0 0Disagree

15 May 2024 20:25:31
I would want Chelsea to win every game. I kind of understand the Spurs fans though. I’m not sure who our Arch Enemy is: Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal?
