Mine would of been:
Neuer; Lahm, Ramos, Godin, Azpilicueta; Yaya Toure, Kroos, Di Maria; Ronaldo, Costa, Messi
Iniesta and Luiz on that team are frankly ridiculous inclusions. Thiago Silva also to some degree, he would've been nowhere near my team of the year. Even a guy like Benatia deserves it more than him IMO.
Was incredibly dumb.

You simply can't tell me that those three centre halfs deserve it over Diego Godin. Same thing with Leow over Diego Simeone. I wouldve gone:
Neuer; Ramos, Godin, Kompany, Lahm; Robben, Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Ronaldo; Messi, Costa
I woulda gone this

Manager of the year - Simeone
Player of the year - Ronaldo

I was torn between kompany zabaleta and terry. And then matic could've been in there for schweinsteiger or Suarez.
