When does it not become bad luck but poor managing of injuries / fatigue?

I’m sure at that any end of season review will include our ongoing injury issues.
I’m hoping that Cucarella can’t play on Monday.

Bill, I really do, they are the bedrock of the team but Chelsea might not be winning any trophy if our best legs are often off the pitch.

Bill, would you buy players who have hardly played due to injuries for two seasons? Fortunately one of more astute buys Gusto, more than adequately covers James, I keep forgetting how young he his: could become top notch player. I hope Cucurella can regain the form he showed at Brighton; if so those two bombing down the wings gives us hope for the future.

I take your point, Jimbo, and to a extent, I agree, but how long would you allow it to continue if it keeps happening, and by that time, their prices would have tanked.

Bill, I said at the start of this season, what are the chances of James and Chilwell starting 15 PL games together. The problem is they are both on long contracts with high wages. On the football side, we just have accept the situation and plan our style and tactics on the basis they are unlikely to be available for a lot of games. Ideally, I would sell them.
