He's better than Sanchez, but, petrovic has shown in last 3/4 games he's not a no. 1, not if we're being honest, or serious.

It was a mistake for sure but he is young and will learn. Cucarella didn’t help the situation.

Petrovic had his purple patch and now it’s over, still better than Sanchez though.
19th and 10 men Burnley and we give the lead away twice, 20th place Sheffield United and we give the lead away twice, Man United we give a 2 goal lead away and was only saved by Cole Palmer. Bit of a trend.
We may have been buzzing after the win on Thursday night but for me it was just papering over large cracks, proven again today.

True, Petrovic is better than Sanchez but he also has areas of weakness: will he learn, who knows but we are not really in a position to start chasing a top class keeper like Costa.

Yeah, he's poor too, there’s been more bad games from him than good yet we take the few good games and think that’s the real him, petrovic has been at fault for goals v Brentford Burnley and Sheffield United and United, in the last month, Cuccurella showed us how he switches off chasing the ball, which we know ( deep down )

All players have periods make mistakes. When goalkeepers make a mistake there is generally no get out of jail free card.
