We walked the league last season and went unbeaten in europe, we have a brilliant manager, fantastic owner, one of the best academy set ups in the world and a very powerful and close knit squad. The rest are behind us excluding Barca, Madrid and maybe Munich. Begovic is a good replacement for Big Pete, Falcao an upgrade on Drogs. RLC and Traore are fantastic young players with the potential to match Pogba and Sterling. Charles Aranguiz is a step up on Mikel and Pedro gives real quality in depth. Cuardrado can play Right back and Right midfield and looked good in the game against Sunderland. We are total quality. All you regular posters and readers please believe me when I say we are building a dynasty here. Chelsea forever.

Hmmm not sure I agree. The competition in the premierleague was poor last year but think the signings Utd, city and arsenal are going for will make a huge difference. I fear arsenal the most just a couple of players short last season that they are looking to rectify. I think clubs are spending a lot this summer as the new Pl deal is coming. I really think that transfer fees will be rising sharply very soon so think we should be spending now not later.

But do you support Chelsea? Sadly, I think ED02 was pissed off by abuse from non Chelsea fans on this page. Let's face it, he exposed Aron the so called Australian as a troll?

So because he doesn't agree with you, you question if he's a chelsea fan? Grow up.

Stating that we went unbeaten in Europe isn't saying much. We also got bounced before the quarters of you remember. There are a ton of people getting hung up about competing with others in our league but what about Europe. PSG was the better team over both legs and they got smashed by barca. We aren't close to barca right now.

JoseKB: I think many will agree with you in part especially the 'close knit squad' and the two additions are very good but after that I think you are making too many assumptions. There is also a lot of truth in Spearce96's comment, it was not a stellar Premiership and many will up their game although the same five will be fighting it out. We have no idea if he comes, whether Aranguiz will adapt having only played in South America and I am sorry, Cuadrado is far to light weight for our league and God forbid he ended up in defence. The two youngsters have potential and nothing else at present so as much as that all reads positive we will have to up our game up front considerably this season and not rely so heavily on a great defence.
