I am interested in how you see Havertz developing and which position he would be best to focus on?
I think it's quite a challenge to integrate him properly unless you play a very specific formation.
At times I think we would be better playing 433 but that means either bringing him back into that three or he ends up playing on the right of a front three which isn't ideal.
He is almost a player you need to build a team around but he is to young and inexperienced to do that currently.
{Ed001's Note - I think he needs to play in a 3 in the way someone such as Thiago does and learn to press and work back. Long term I see him as a number 10, an attacking mid behind a striker, but he needs to learn and understand work ethic to truly make the most of his insane amount of talent.}

I would certainly favour him playing in a 433 at least some of the time as we do seem to get over run in that department quite regularly.
He is trying to put in the hard yards I think and he's the right age to get stronger and adapt hopefully.
Do you think our existing midfield options are suitable for integrating him in that role?
I think we need more of an anchor player or two players capable of sharing defensive duties.
{Ed001's Note - you do need an anchor really, which makes it all the more odd Ampadu was allowed to go on loan again.}

I agree although he made so few appearances last season I guess they felt he needed more game time/ experience to be considered as a full time option.
Rice is clearly a ready made option for the role so I am wondering if he will ever get the chance frankly.

It would and it would give us £50m towards buying a top centre back, which we badly need.
Silva has proved already what a difference an experienced top notch CB can make to our defence, plus Mendy of course.

I reckon we should use Ampadu and Christensen there as DM’s. I’m a Rice fan but I’d rather see that money go towards two top centre halves. Konate and Demiral if I had my way 😠unlikely I know but after this summer who knows what we’re capable of again.

I think we need to ship out Christensen and Rudiger and buy one experienced and one young CB.
And buy an experienced anchor in midfield unless we give Ampadu the role but that has risks give his lack of experience.
