I can't see the blue card being adopted. Referees already have all the tools they could possibly need to officiate games, and they have proven incapable to utilise them correctly and/ or consistently. VAR should have been a watershed moment for the improvement of the game but it has been completely bungled. This proposal is just a solution to a problem they have brought upon themselves.
The only thing that is sorely lacking, and is worth adding into the game from this perspective, is common sense.

No blue cards thankyou, scrap VAR but keep goaline technology, that actually works very well, adopt the old 'advantage to the attacker' offside rule and let match officials do their job to the best of their ability.

We could have games for a few minutes at a time where it’s 9 v 8 with this sin binning, you know how footballers are with there pushing and handbags and getting involved, plus if a team loses a player for 10 min the opposition with out 10 behind the ball and time waste, will be boring and dull won’t change anything with var as blue cards will still be subjective and a talking point,
Saw an ex city player talking about premier league pundits too, said none of them talk tactics and play just emotions of the game, who wanted it what it means to other clubs, sackings and pressure.
Carra even wrote an article saying it’s sad for English football that we beat Villa, the whole game is losing what’s loved.
