Ever since Ed mentioned osimhen almost certainly hoping Chelsea, his performances and this season haven't been great, and gyokeres has been a bettering ram and scoring goal after goal after goal. I worry whatever striker we get the curse is very real,
Other, what would it say if our owners replaced poch, what does it say about a project and process and long term stability, that would be tuchel potter, frank interim, poch and then a 5th in 2 seasons.
I get the disconnect with the fans but poch will get us higher up with a striker and more luck with injuries, let alone if we invested in proven talent rather than potential talent.

I would love us to sign Osimhen and I think Toney is ok. I’m sure the club has a list of alternatives so I will start getting excited closer to the next window. Who knows, we may have another pot in our trophy cabinet by then…. if only!

I can definitely see Osimhen at PSG next year, and toney at arsenal (unfortunately), but I'm sure we'll find a suitable alternative. Thanks Ed.

Damn, that update on Osimhen is a real shame. Given this news, my preference going into next season would be to bring in a experienced player who can make up for the holes currently lacking in Jackson's game. Someone who hits the near post and wins headers. I could definitely see us going in for Duran given this is what he excels at.
Banza or Solanke would also be good options that wouldn't be prohibitive in cost.
I think Jackson's game has improved a lot throughout the season, it may be prudent to try and bring in goals around him and see what he can become.

Just give Jackson more time to develop and maybe Fofana as back up? I'm really liking Jackson and our forwards are starting to click now with our XG very good. Sort a centre back and we are in great shape.
