City dreadful v United in FA Cup final who have played in v disciplined plus high pressing way. Looks like the dreaded Conference League for us at this stage and Uefa League for United. Depressing.

The city defence was absolutely rubbish, they believed their hype that they only had to turn up to win, only one teM wanted to win and it was mot City.

It will be a good competition for our under 17/ 18's to gain more experience.
I would not play any of the 1st team squad unless they need match practice coming back from injury.

Completely agree Bill1955 let's give the youngsters and those in squad in general not getting much time starting in EPL the Thursday night games. Perhaps playing strong team only if we get to final.

I don’t think it will work that way. We will have to play some first teamers. This competition is a distraction and hindrance to next season: we may possibly lose money. More Sunday games at inconvenient times. In any event, UEFA’s financial regulations are more stringent than the PL, we will have to meet those to compete.

Think that the Ref snd VAR that missed the completely blatant Grealish hand ball for a penalty v City in semi final had shall we say a hand in our loss.
Thought we played better than City amd dederved to win but same old problem of missing chances
Did think Poch got subs wrong in Carabao Cup final plus we were so flat in extra time. That was down to him.
But still think Poch was getting the side to gell well in last part of season and despite the injury problems. Squad behind him and plsying exciting football. But no choice but to move on now.

Poch coached a winnable semi, not his fault Jackson couldn’t finish 2-3 chances and chilwell couldn’t square an easy ball,
