That moment when you sell KDB and keep Oscar! What a awful mistake! Discuss

Hasn't this been done to death already? Fully agree, KDB has been playing exceptionally well. But that whole team revolves around him. He's the centre of everything at Wolfsburg and thrives in that role apparently. It is my honest opinion that he definitely wouldn't put up the same numbers if he was playing for us.
I know Oscar has again dipped in form during the second half of the season, but you can't ignore the defensive and pressing work he provides when he plays. KDB doesn't come close to him in that regard and I'm really willing to bet he wouldn't post numbers that are that much better than Oscar in the same role as Oscar plays.
On top of that, Ed has mentioned on previous occasions that KDB made demands that the club wouldn't agree to and that that's the reason that he was let go. Nobody is bigger than the club and I'm glad the club sees it that way as well.

I will say it again. TSO has no tolerance for young players and does not develop players except those who are exceptionally talented. Secondly he does not change tactics to suit his players rather change players to suit his tactics and that's why CFC will keep losing some of the best young players because thy are less defensive. . TBH I wouldn't be surprised if TSO put in bids for Fellain, Wanyama, Valencia (MU), Fenando (man city), Pelle (southampton), Barry (Everton), Kuyate(WHU). .
Before TSO returned our DOF was doing a fantastic job in signing very good talented young players unfortunately most of them may not meet TSO criteria of being defensive minded.
I have also observed that most of our young stars when given a chance (10mins) they look timid and do not play with any freedom and I think that's fear instilled by TSO of don't make mistake/don't lose/defend. .
TSO is very good manager for experienced teams but not developing teams. .he would wonders with Man city team (Fernando, Fenadhino, Kompany and Yaya).

It's not KDB is a better player than oscar, it's the way Jose has them play. He takes away there attacking qualities to make us more defensive. Watch KDB play and he doesn't have to keep running back to his own half, instead he just floats behind the striker ready to start attacks.i think oscar has been awful this season but in his defence the lads not had a real break for years

Oscar's been awful this year? Then by 'year' I hope you mean 2015 and not this season. He was very good in the first half of the season, as he tends to be. He's just fallen off in the last month or two. His stats aren't even bad when compared to other attacking midfielders. He just has to work on his consistency and perhaps stamina. Still only 23, we'd regret letting him go.

Makes me laugh! You want your players to give you everything on the pitch, defensively & attacking as that's what ultimately wins you titles, if a player doesn't want to win the premier league & rather play second fiddle to bayern Munich then it's he's loss not ours!

Stop trying to convince your selves. Oscar isn't and won't be what we all though he would be. Kdb is a quality player who in which he said didn't have a big enough price tag.
