An awful lot of regular posters said on here they didn't want Pedro, just wondering what your feelings are now?

Agree0 Disagree0

We were wrong and put our hands up for it

i don't , i had doubt about pedro too , but he has been brought into a team . jm said he is not here on holiday . dave said they trained with him so they make sure they understood the service he needs , and he also understands the service we need that is why he is here and not in spain or anywhere near manchester

chelsa is not barca
and the pedro @ chelsea you haven't seen not to like

I wasn't a fan of the Pedro move. He had a very good first game, but that's what it is. Only 1 game. I really do hope he can continue to influence our games like he did on Sunday, but I'll wait to pass real judgment until I see him play some more.

He has played once, against one of the poorer teams in the league. My opinion of him over the past 5-6 years, won't be changing after one game.

He played well, but wasnt excellent. Yes he scored a deflected goal, scuffed another shot that turned into an assist and made some decent runs, but if you expect that to happen every game, you're kidding yourself.

In my eyes he is a more effective Willian, without the workrate. Not a great passer, not extremely intellegent in his movement, but will add goals.

If you rewatch the game, he did a lot of things wrong, but for a debut he was effective and played well. I'd give it 6-12 months before you can really judge him in the league. Di Maria started on fire, how would you judge his time in England?

What the others said. If he continues Sunday's performance for the year then I'll gladly eat crow but until then I'll hold my council.

Thanks for answering the post chaps, let's hope he does make a big difference to our team.

Pedro was by far our best player and to have someone with such amazing experience and has won every trophy in the book should think before you write! We haven't had a person opposite Hazard since he had been at Chelsea and his experience and dedication to his craft is going to bring us a winning season! For me it's better we started slow as we can now show what we are made of and its kind of fun to see what kind of reserve we have as a team! Don't count Chelsea out of anything and we will see tomorrow when they announce our Champions League group what we have in store the next couple months, but mark my words Pedro will be a huge difference maker in our teams results as will Kennedy and and Rahman! Lots to look forward to!
Lastly Martinez has gone too far with his shannanigans and even if we don't get Stones now in January we will come back again and by that time he will have either forced the hand that holds him back or he will play like he did today as he showed he is not into Everton

Jet: I cannot help feeling you are looking at Pedro through rose tinted glasses. He has been fortunate in some respects to win what he has when never really being a key player for Barcelona. To be Chelsea's best player on Saturday says more about the team than him; he was competent and showed glimpses of what we miss but like some I was against the buy because I feel he is too fragile for the Premiership and I am reserving judgement until he encounters some of our more robust defenders. He could end up being another Jesus Navas, an impact player only.

When you think of the 58m being asked for De Bruyne and the 85m in Griezmann's contract, by anyone's measure Pedro is a snip at 25m euros.
