Apparently he wants to come back

However, sporting director Max Eberl says it will be a task striking a deal with the Premier League giants.

“It will be hard work, ” he told Sky Germany.

“I hope it can happen, but I do not know if we’re going to buy him. Probably not.

“Perhaps there are other options to consider. We need to talk to Chelsea.

“Andreas is very attached to Chelsea. He also says that if he gets the chance to play for Chelsea, he’ll go back. ”.

Ed has already said don't hold your breath.

{Ed002's Note - The player wants guarantees - and unless that position changes there is an impasse.}

I hope Andreas realizes he won't be guaranteed a place in the starting 11 or a certain number of starts or whatever he's looking for. He has to be confident in his own ability as a player and believe that he can outperform Cahill or Azpi. He'd be brilliant in that role as he's able to step up into midfield and make something happen, unlike Cahill and Azpi who look a bit tentative when they push up with the ball.

I hope that he gets a chance, would be such a shame to lose another top prospect!
