That was an awful performance mistake ridden, sloppy passing, lack of passion, ok we were dealt a couple of problems without courtois and alonso but how bad were we. For starters Costa is terrible plays like a donkey poor touch can't run with the ball looks disinterested we need to get shut of him in the summer asap i would say. also matic is to slow and to defensive i thought when we lost Alonso before the match Antonio to me made the wrong move he should of put loftus cheek in instead of zouma. Finally it was definitely handball for there first goal how that idiot ref could not see that only that fool knows anyway win our last 4 home games and we will be champions come on the Chelsea.

As I've said, Kante was the only player to turn up. Cahill, Costa, Matic and Zouma truly awful. I think the forced change could have been made a lot simpler by just putting Pedro at wing back and playing Willian. I assume Ake couldn't play for some reason but he was on the bench!

Costa was very good in first half of season but in some games lately he is back to his worst habits of last season, and today when we really needed him he again went awol for much of the match. Thing is that he reckons he can afford to cos no competition, or no competition Conte trusts. This the problem of playing so few all season, when a couple of injuries happen. Only kante played at anywhere near standard we need and expect, and perhaps Moses ok too before he was substituted. Not sure why Ake not played.
Still, we must regroup hope to heck Costa will refind will to play as he can and that Alonso and Courtois (how badly injured? ) will be back for next EPL game. Pity in some ways that we have the FA Cup game v Spurs next weekend.

I know its a semi and its against Spurs so we have to win it but the Conte team selection will be intereting given we have a game the following Tuesday and some players who are not playing well. I think all the pressure is on Spurs not us. We have four of the last Six games at home. While Spurs have four of there last six away!

He should have started ake over zouma just for the balance of the team he's very unfortunate not to have played more ake imo it does seem at a lack of trust with the squad he has though as it's always same same if this is the case could be a lot of movement in the transfer market this summer. Costa looks like he's ready to leave hopefully get a few more goals to win us the league then let him go

We were really done today by that first goal. Which was clear handball and slight offside. Anyway we just didn't turn up today at all. Costa needs dropping badly he just doesn't bother playing football no more.
Anyway thought referee was all in United favour today. How we were booked first as a team for barely a foul when they have avoided so many it's just ridiculous.
