For the older supporters, a mention for Ken Shellito our former right back, who sadly died on the 31st October. A great defender and master of the sliding tackle who had a potentially, illustrious career cut short by a knee injury at the age of 25 in 1965. Fond memories.

My dad always said that if Shellito had not suffered his injury, he would have been England's right-back at the 1966 World Cup.

Miss Darren wood, my old man spoke so highly of him. Said he was one of the best to play for Chelsea, but his injury cut short his career.
