Eds I know we have had an interest in Khedira before but I understood that had passed.
Are the recent reports true that we have renewed our interest in him?

Ed018 if we are no longer looking at Khedira and Pogba is no longer a viable option are we still looking for a midfielder could vidal be a viable option or are we clutching at straws?

I REALLY hope we steal a march on Khedira - I think he would be ace next to matic.
I don't understand why we are looking to keep on spending especially for yet another midfielder we just paid 30m for fabregas. he can go nicely alongside matic in a 4231 or a 433 with oscar as the other midfielder. and regarding backups of the midfield we should look to our young talents in van ginkel, ake, chalobah and loftus-cheek. and don't forget we still have ramires. so what's the desperate need to splash more cash on a midfielder?
