Paul Merson is on a stitch up if he thinks Benteke would be a good addition to Chelsea. Add Griezmann who can play up top or on the wing and Verane, then we're good to go. If rami and Milel are both sold, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kedhia brought in on a free. Chuffed I'm out of country in a week until August as I wouldn't get anything done from looking at transfer updates lol

I wouldn't mind Benteke if Remy and Drogba left. He's a very good player and one of the best at holding the ball up and in the air.

I really like Benteke, he's a handful for defenses and such a big target in and around the box.

Benteke would be a great replacement for Drogba. Having said that I still would prefer Griezmann.

I wonder how bentieke would perform as a non regular. That's one thing that I can't praise remy enough for. Every time he was called on he performed. He had something like a goal every 90 minutes. His performance this year can't get enough credit.
