Andre Gomes is one player I wish the club would push for. He's so good and still really young. Hope we go for him over Niangolan, but think that's unlikely.

Whilst he's a big lad, I would worry about his physicality when it comes to the prem as he seems to get pushed about a fair bit. He's also quite in and out of all the matches I've seen him involved in. I like the look of Joao Mario, looks a tidy player. I personally think a midfielder like Nainggolan who can run all match and is also technically sound and a willing shooter is essential for our team. We need a bit of steel in our midfielder and he's certainly offer that.

I think Gomes offers nothing more than Oscar, we need to sign players that give us something we don't have. Nainggolan would be that type of player, but I also think matic could be that box to box player, if we had kante protecting the defence. When a new manager comes in he most of the time signs players from his own nationality, I'm wondering what Italian players would fans like to see at the bridge.

The problem I have with Matic as a 'box to box' is no goal threat, even shockingly from set pieces despite his height. (I don't remember the last header he scored) If he stays back and we get a dm good at passing and shooting then OK.
