To be honest I'm past caring who comes in and who goes. We all want pogba, greizman etc but I can't see any of them happening. If hazard and Costa want to leave then sell them, your looking at raising over £100m off them two players alone. I'm not sure about what actually went on regarding lukaku under mourinho but he is another player showing the club they where wrong to sell him and he is certainly one we should be looking at bringing back. Whoever the club buy need to be first team players, not back up. Leicester are a proven point in you don't need the best players in world football, you just need a hunger and desire to play and win football matches.

{Ed002's Note - What happened with Lukaku is nothing whatsoever to do with JM.}

We should perhaps offer Van Ginkel to Ajax to sweeten them into a deal for Bazoer.

I would love Bazoer to come to Chels but there would be loads of competition for his signature.

If Mikel leaves we have some free places in our midfield though. We only have 4 central midfielders in our first team squad right now. If Conte wants to have the option of playing a 3 man midfield we should definitely acquire 1 or 2 players for that position.

Thank you Ed002, you have stated on multiple occasions that the issue with Lukaku was not JM's. People just need to get over this, Lukaku will never be coming back, so give it up!

Calm down KP! ED02 has kindly given an insight into what happened with Lukaku and mentioned it had nothing to do with Jose. That said, people on here, Chelsea fans, are entitled to an opinion and what's more, given an apology on Lukaku's part and a change of heart from the club who knows, it might be possible.

Falcao, Remy and Pato will be leaving for sure, so we will have only two strikers Traore and hopefully Costa. Chelsea will be forced to sign two strikers. Who are going to be signed we shall see.
Do not count Fabregas and Oscar was CMs they will probably get number ten position, off course a lot depends on Hazard ( his future) .
About Pogba, MCFC will lose Toure, I am expecting that they will do everything they can to sign Pogba.
But on the other hand we have two players and Juventus is desperate to get them ( Oscar and Cuadrado) so we could be in pole position to sign him. But in the end Pogba will probably decide what is best for him.

not sure pato will go, depending on what he can do with his opportunitys between now and the end of the season. he looked hungry and determined like he had a point to prove he still relatively young and yes although it was an awful villa performance he hardly put a foot wrong and the ball through to oscar was world class. I would be surprised if we kept hold of costa even more surprised if we kept hold on hazzard.

i would presume we will sign at least 1 high profile forward and cm and more then likely a high profile cb then another lesser known player in each position.

now if we presume conte to play his favored formation then one of hazard or oscar will be leaving it makes no sense to keep both ideally keeping hazard and using oscar to try to pry pogba from juventus though realistically unlikely for a few obvious reasons.

if we can pull of moves for pjanic and vidal and a reliable cb that would solve that issue with 3 cb i would offer terry one more year before joining the coaching staff though he would have to accept a big wage cut.

leaving only the strikers to work out we need at least 2 assuming pato stays and traore stays if he raids serie a there's a few options out there dybla, icardi, higuain my dream is still to get lacazette which ever top club gets him will have some player on there hands or yes lukaku but again isn't going to happen maybe ibra for a year yes he's older but the guy is a freak of nature and is built for the prem and would work great with two up to especially if we have a pacey striker to play off him same could be said for higuain and dybla and lacazzete fit that profile perfectly.

Sorry G8, never going to happen! Lukaku is not world class, he has deficiencies (his own ego being the biggest) which will stop him ever playing for a top team. A big fish in a small pond will always be his go, hence clubs like Everton suit him. His biggest problem is his first touch, that will not change now. He simply is not Chelsea quality IMO, we can do much better than him I feel. Yours and mine are personal opinions expressed, however, I'm sure we all agree that what matters most is the future success of "our" team. Time will tell mate.

I agree with Kiwi Pete, Lukaku is a standout in average teams and a benchmark is when he steps on to the International stage where he is decidedly ordinary. I sincerely hope we do not show interest and I would suggest it is his agent doing all the talking. Regarding Pato. Do not discount the fact he may well remain as he showed in that cameo role against a dreadful team that he clearly was and maybe when fully fit and stays that way, still a very, very talented footballer. He has the rest of the season to prove the point.
