Ed002 - as it’s looking highly likely Sarri will be departing, would you be willing to explain how clubs go about recruiting managers, and if Chelsea are atypical, or perhaps everyone does it slightly differently?
Always wondered if they put the word out there’s a vacancy and accept applications, or if it’s an invite only type thing.
{Ed002's Note - Chelsea drew up a list of potential options and a meeting/WebEx including a couple of consultants was held when the team was in Boston to reduce it to a smaller list. Additionally a couple of agents has approached the club and there has been a side discussions in Monaco. It varies club-by-club how coaches are recruited.}

I love it when things like this are explained? I find it all fascinating tbh.
I doubt it would ever happen or even if anyone really knows but I would love a real in depth breakdown of how Chelsea FC is structured and the process of running the Club etc.
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I would be interested.
Infact I'm curious as to how the World of Football functions in general like Agents, Meetings, Owners etc.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what you need to know about agents, but owners is a case-by-case situation. Some are running the club, some are hands on when they need to be, some at completely separated and leave others to run clubs. Meetings are just meetings - sometimes tehre are biscuits.}
