I'm pretty sure the authorities will NOT change the VAR rules mid season but this nonsense has to stop.

IMO It's becoming a joke!

Tom I couldn't agree more mate. These offside decisions are sucking the life out of football. This week has been so poor. Can't believe the decisions.

Yeah I completely agree. I understand why the have to show consistency with these decisions, but frankly it's killing the game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the off-side rule is there to prevent attacking players getting an unfair advantage on the defenders, and in most of these cases this week the few millimeters they have been offside, did not give them any advantage whatsoever and would not have impacted the match differently, which is why I think it's frankly ridiculous to call it. Seems like Liverpool once again got lucky with VAR.

{Ed0666's Note - Rules is rules mate. The wolves player was off so it’s an illegal goal and rightly was chalked off. Everyone and his dog was clamoring for VAR now we have it and finally it’s becoming semi-consistent everyone’s up in arms about it.

I like the term “semi-consistent” it just about sums it up!

Anyway I don’t care about the right and wrong of the decisions but more about how seems to drain away the atmosphere/ energy from a game. If that makes sense.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but VAR was brought in to clear-up "clear and obvious errors". If an attacker is 0.6mm offside, this is hardly clear and obvious. Just go back to the benefit of the doubt being given to the attacking side.
