In the build up to this game this week I was fairly calm and optimistic about getting a result tonight, however when I saw the formation tonight I got instantly worried, you can't come to Anfield and play 3 at the back against the most potent front 3 in the world and it is obvious why. So many areas to improve on next season, defence/ keeper is a real worry, can't win championships with defenders like that. Massive game against Wolves at the Bridge.

most important result tonight was man u only getting 1 point. more pressure on both Leicester and utd although a draw would be enough if we lose.

I think the formationbwas not to blame and fear intended to reduce crosses into the box which it did much of the time ie by having 2 WING backs as well. we looked good early on. Problem was we wasted good attacking postions and a couple of good chances and went 3-0 down due to Willian error wrongly awarded free kick and shot from distance. Their other two goals came as we were chasing the game and think we would have been in more trouble with conventional 4 at the back given how dreadfully vulnerable we have looked with this formation since restart except when we got all players behind ball when not in possession v Man City. But point of course is that with whatever formation we need to strengthen the defence.
