So thinking ahead.

Who do we think it most saleable (and disposable) assets are?

There's a few players of value.

Barkley looks great at Villa, could go for a real profit

Jorgi might suit another League

Rudiger is clearly a possible sale

Emerson or Alonso

Kepa probably would be too great a loss at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Jorginho is going anywhere. Played in all but 1 Prem/ CL games this season, starting 8 of them too. Lamps likes and wants him, imo.

Jorginho rudiger emerson alonso lifted cheek Barkley giroud, Michy Moses will bring in some good money and interest, kepa will be tough, who wants a keeper that low on confidence for the price we’ll want,
Not so much January but looking ahead
CB
WINGER ( back up / competition )
STRIKER ( back up / competition )
LEFT BACK ( back up to chillwell )

I’d like to think we can look within club for positions too.

Possible addition in not too distant future might also be a back up keeper for Mendy but possibly hope is to get Kepa loaned at least beforehand. But would even a loan be possible?

Depending on RB form and behaviour perhaps he still has a future at CFC. Perhaps Jorginho will stay and je has had sone good games and Ziyech looks as though he can continually provide the kind of passes Jorginho seldom manages. Jorginho can offer experience and ability to help ball retention in tight spaces. But jorginhos lack of pace/ athleticism and how he looks fragile defensively obviously remains a worry.

I think all of those listed above will be off in permanent deals by the end of next summer.

Barkley playing well at Villa, but that's probably the right level for him. Not quite good enough to consistently get into a team looking to get top four, but needs to be in the team most weeks to stand any chance of consistently performing.

The switch to a midfield three signals the end for Jorginho.

Ampadu for DCM, Maatsen for LB, Gallagher for CM, Sarr for CB. I'm not seeing too many positions where we can't fill from within, other than another winger and / or striker. Especially if Hudson-Odoi and / or Giroud were to be added to those who move on.

I think Jorginho's time will be up when Ampadu comes back or we sign Rice as there's no need for him then.

Barkley, Giroud, Emerson, Alonso and Christensen could all be moved on next two windows. Barkley would be a coup for Villa or someone like West Ham.

Kepa is one of them where we grit our teeth as we're probably never getting anything back for him loans is the only option.
