Read some articles saying that Chelsea is likely to loan Billy Gilmour come the winter transfer window. I think it’s a bad idea. The kid should stay, I think he can do good job for us this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would like to share the source?

I don't think he'll go anywhere. Jorgi is much more likely to leave in Jan.

He's desperate to be in the Scotland squad for the Euro's, which realistically could be his only opportunity to play in a major international tournament.

By all accounts (from Matt Law) Lampard recognises this and, if the right club can be identified, would support a loan so that Gilmour plays more mins and gives himself the maximum opportunity to be in the Scotland squad.

Gilmour for me should be starting over Jorginho. If we can get a permanent buyer for Jorginho it would be good for both parties. Also gives us funds for Rice in the summer.

I remember FL said a while back that Gilmour won't go on loan and I also think he should start ahead of Jorgi.

He should go on loan. As an above post mentioned, it could be one of his only chances to play at a major tournament for Scotland. Jorgi is ahead of him at the moment in my opinion. If he gets a good loan and international experience then it would be better for him and us in the long run.

I also see a comment about signing Harland and Rice. If we get one player this January it has to be another winger. We can't keep playing Werner on the wing. Get a left winger in so he can play in the middle. I don't think it would be a hard sell, CHO and Pulisic both have bad injury records, so game time shouldn't be an issue. If we could tempt Neto away from Wolverhampton that would be excellent business, that lad is going to be a star. If Giroud leaves, we will either need a new CF or a winger. Makes sense to let Werner play his best position and go for the later.

Avram I agree about Neto he’s got that horrible personality that you’d want playing for you’re club as well. But him coming in where does that leave CHO? I rate CHO but he’s not got enough game time this season as it is. Frank needs to play him on the wing before Werner or Havertz for me as he’s got that ability to beat 3-4 players and can control a ball with his first touch unlike Werner. If CHO did leave Neto would be my first choice to replace him because if frank doesn’t like CHO he may as well sell him because his treatment of him has been really unfair.

If it was Sarri Chelsea fans would have forced him out by now it’s double standards really.

Yes I agree. CHO could absolutely do the job, he just needs to stay fit!

CHO has been injured, broke C.V. rules, and has been accused of r***. He’s been given as many minutes as possible imo.

Give it a rest Fuser. He was not guilty of rape for a start and every youngster deserves a second chance. A natural winger is what we need right now.

I think getting arrested for it might have impacted his ability to fully focus on football though. Maybe that's the point being made.

24 Dec 2020 19:34:32
Exactly J. When he’s in the headlines for something like that you don’t put him under further scrutiny by playing him. And graham I never said he was guilty or shouldn’t be given a second chance, was simply pointing out the very obvious reasons why he hasn’t played. If anyone should give it a rest perhaps it’s you and your love affair with Rice. No real need to comment at least twice on every post saying you want him 😂.

I hope CHO doesn’t waist his career but I do have concerns.
