I was happy with that line up, thought we'd be solid and compact and look to break at speed, we pressed and pressed high and got torn apart, was school boy, the pundits were laughing at half time, was a cringe, our game plan seems to be play wide and cross it, no time did we try down middle over the top, get in behind, the old cesc / costa days of one ball over the top, 1 win and draw in 6 games, my opinion has been made very clear but genuine questions to others and Ed's .
Where have we improved and what's our direction? Seems to be same game plan / tactics for every game, werner looms broke, the man can't even take a corner now, pulisic, again lacked end product, few poor crosses ( surprising to werner I know ) had one chance to shoot but pulled it back, tried hard at least, kante needed help but didn't get it, think Declan rice now is a must buy, back to basics and clean sheets, horrendous Xmas period that's likely cost us top 4,

Strangely I wasn’t happy with that line up Matt.
I love Kante but when a player isn’t playing well he has to be left out.
Kovacic doesn’t do enough for me especially in big games and that was the same tonight.
Dave had a very poor game but at least he gave everything as usual.
CHO was a certain starter for me.
Lamps picked the team so he has to take the responsibility.

I agree Tom. Pretty accurate observation.
433 isn't working. Let's hope we get Rice or anyone like him in the coming days. Surely Marina and Petr can see that our midfield needs a rehaul.

I will never be happy with Werner playing central - his 1st touch is awful; he can't head the ball; he doesn't know how to play on the last defender's shoulder (which is amazing given his pace! ) ; he can't hold the ball up. How is he a central striker?!
