Few points I wanted to mention about game, sort of negatives
* Cho needs to shoot more, drives forward and is direct, needs to be a little greedier
* kovecic, has to work on his end product because in this formation, he has been really really good, he is a ball carrier, 8/ 8 dribbles from CM, last night, glides past players, has strength and close control. Needs to pop up with a goal or assist, was very impressed with him last night snd I'm not usually a fan,
* jorginho, he wasn't bad and hasn't been since TT took over but last night I noticed he drops very close to out CB's and receives a 5 yard pass then plays a pass himself, I'm sure Christensen / silva / azpi could do the same, also when Newcastle pressed in second half he struggled, a team with an identity to press and win the ball back ASAP will show kante as the world class player he is,
* END PRODUCT, easy to say but we're
Dominating games, just need to be clinical, decision making at the end,
* zouma havertz pulisic chillwell James - hoping to see these guys more, injuries and formation changes but some serious talent here, if we can get these boys firing we can really challenge for top 4,
We have saints next who won't sit back and will need to bounce back after poor performances recently and ings and adams both good strikers and ward prowse is a dead ball specialist, also :
Liverpool v Everton
West Ham v spurs
Arsenal v city
So we can really make ground or pull a few clear with a win before united game,

I take on board some of your points Matt.
I think CHO is better on the left cutting in on his right foot but then you would other selection issues.
I agree about Kovacic. A few goals wouldn’t go amiss.
If all were fit my back three at this moment in time would be Dave, Christensen and Silva. All can play and are generally comfortable on the ball.

Both jorginho and azpi are affected by pace. In the second half when Newcastle pressed, these 2 were the most affected players.
I didn't like the way kova played earlier during this season. But boy he has been immense in recent games. Rudi, I am still not sold as I think he still lacks basic defending skills and honestly not been tested enough in the recent games. Will see during the next 4 games whether he has improved or not.

Tammy was poor again that I would play oly instead. even for his height he can't head the ball wonder what exactly he offers if not the number of the HG.

Give us break ilo. The lad had about 20 mins before getting injured. Yes, he should have got a header on target but he offers completely different things to Giroud.
I’m biased, I’m not a fan of Giroud.
I would be interested to know the goals per game ratio for both players?

Tom neither Giroud nor Abraham fill me with confidence but I would always pick Giroud over Abraham as he is a big game player: Abraham is a fast-track bully. I’m surprised he can hold his trousers up as he can’t hold up the ball.

Lots of people prefer Giroud Jimbo and that’s fine. My point was you can’t judge Tammy’s performance last night on 20 odd mins.
Also Tammy’s first touch isn’t fantastic but at least he is mobile, works hard and is better than Giroud in defence.
My guess is Giroud will leave at the end of the season and Tammy will end up as cover for another forward.

Fair enough Tom I agree about last night. Giroud will certainly move on in the summer. I’m not sure if Tammy would accept being on the bench but we need a top class striker and I’m afraid that isn’t Tammy.

Goin his just 20mins he had opportunity to score ttwo goals. but he squandered both. i wasn't really bothered when he was taken off and my concern didn't take long before giriud gave us the lead. In not wishing him or any of our players injury but we have a squad with players if different skills and some situations require different approach and that's the need to have large squad help in certain situations. Unless Tammy adapt his game he may not be first choice striker at Chelsea for long. if we get a player like Halaand that will out him in a tight corner es

If we sign five players next season ilo and they don’t hit the ground running, who will you blame?
Sometimes it takes time for players to settle and that can be for lots of reasons. If it was to happen next season or any other season, I won’t be blaming the manager that’s for sure.

I made criticisms last season and this season ilo.
The difference is I tried my best to make them constructive.
For instance, I never accused a club playing legend of disloyalty.
