I'd be very happy if we moved on RLC, jorginho and got in tchoumeni and Gallagher back, Barrella would of been the unrealistic option maybe even rice but for half the apparent fee, tchoumeni seems best option, wonder what chelsea do regarding kante, I highly rate him still, huge fan, wonder if club will cash in while his value highish, vital part of team but picking up knocks, how long has he left on his contract?

I’d keep Jorginho Matt I just don’t think he has protection with RLC next to him. Tchouameni is more box to box. Rice just makes too much sense for it not to happen. Physically, dominant holding midfielder who is Chelsea through and through. Controversial but Kante isn’t reliable no more. I would look to cash in but that’s my opinion. I think if we went into next year with Rice, Kovacic, Jorginho and Gallagher that’s a title winning midfield. Rice and Gallagher are also very reliable and have had no long term injuries. Gilmour has talent but hasn’t impacted the premier league the way I hoped. Gallagher is ready now.

Can understand that mate. My issue is we shouldn’t need a defensive player to play beside another defensive player, jorginho is there to protect, not have someone protect him, jorginho slows the game down and controls it, but isn’t quick enough and when pressed or getting back is very slow, there is a spot in team for him just thinking of who’d attract interest, I’d rather keep kovecic than jorginho if we were to make space for new midfield target,

Agree with that I’d rather keep Kova over Jorgi. Kova has been Immense this season and he’s playing the ball forward more now getting assists which is what we want.
I have never been Jorginho’s biggest fan like some but I will support him. He just too lightweight in the middle I think if we want to win the league. That’s why he was better in the champions league. I’d love us to sign Rice and have him and Kovacic in the centre. Both love a battle and are progressive passers though the middle.

Just been watching the Palace v Everton match and confirms the view that Gallagher is a dynamic matedfielder with goals in him, ie someone we could do with now, and should certainly have back next season.
Rice a no brainer if we could get him, but as many have said before West Ham won't want to sell him and question is whether he will run down his contract if keen to join us.

It’s a bit unfair to call Kante unreliable, he has had injuries but that’s it surprising as he puts himself about. I do accept that we need to be looking for a replacement. Jorginho isn’t likely to go TT likes him. Gallagher has definitely stolen a march on BG. RLC had no place in central midfield except as a squad player and Rice is not coming to Chelsea any time soon.
