So Arsenal have got away with it: player suspended, players at AFCON, allowed a player to go on loan and injuries. How does that justify seeking a postponement: do they not have an under 23 squad. I don't know what's worse, Arsenal's manipulation or the Premier League buying it.

In 96/ 97 season Middlesbrough couldn’t field a team because of flu and injuries . Blackburn were awarded the 3 points. Middlesbrough got relegated that season.

It's not manipulation if the rules allow for it. It's just inept rules being put in place, qnd subsequently being abused.
It's not fair, but the loophole is there so Arsenal use it. Can't fault them, however ridiculous it is.

Jackson, I didn’t say Arsenal have broken the rules, I stated they have manipulated them. As far as rules are concerned a tribunal has to interpret them.
You have an advantage over me as I don’t know what the rules are. To that end, the FA should publish a reasoned judgment as to how the rules applied in this instance.
