Sterling has got to go. I never say this about our players, but I can’t stand him. I think poch has got to go. This playing a centre back at right or left is pathetic. No press, scared to tackle. Madueke is a baby. Mudryks head must be else where. People are going to say about the two penalties, all honesty our football is awful. Pass back, pass out wide no where to go pass back. Slow football.

Why does Poch insist on leaving Sterling on the pitch? The man is stealing a living! Also how Nkunku didn’t get a penalty just adds insult to injury, not that it would have changed the result but the ref and VAR gave us zilch tonight.

I think we need to put things into perspective, we have won 9 PL games this season but apart from 9 man Spurs all in the lower half of the table. Liverpool are genuine title contenders although I still think City will win it. The referee was poor but we were played off the park. As for Sterling my views on him are well known but which club would buy him and pay anywhere near his wages and I doubt whether he would contemplate going to the Saudi league or take a huge wage cut.

Sterling didn’t have a good game but that goes for several other players tonight. The worst for me was Noni.
Sterling has generally been ok this season and given the remarks from Poch pre match certainly supports that assessment.

Sorry, I should have added the following.
Tonight we lost individual battles all over the park and got what we deserved from the game but I would also add that in my opinion we didn’t get what we deserved from our early season games. We were the better team at home than Liverpool, City, Arsenal and Villa. I’m also still not sure how West Ham beat us at there place! Total points from those four games…. three.
The strange thing is we played ok and got nothing. Our performances went downhill and we got results. Funny old game.

gola, I didn’t fancy Liverpool to be challenging for the Premiership. After our first game against them this season I would never had said they would be so far ahead of us either. To me, we were the better team in that game.
