Only a friendly but the lack of effort from our players is embarrassing. Should be putting in a shift for thee fans who may never get to see their team play live again. So poor going forward and lacklustre at the back.

We have stepped it up after looking half asleep. The midfield is unbalanced and again I do not see what others do in Christensen.

This game is the reality check we need, although only pre-season and the result doesn't overly matter, we lack quality in depth and to compete in Europe this season we need more quality. This game reminds me of the Fa cup final, we look lethargic. (which of course could be due to all the air miles but still no excuse)

Really impressed with Renata sanches, have read bad things about his attitude and Bayern wanting to sell and I'd really like him.

Morata moves like a classy player and once he settles in with our main line-up including Hazard he is going to be better than Costa over time. Worried as always with our defence against pace, especially pacy, quick passing teams.
