I think the most interesting thing about yesterday were the immediate post-match comments by Cahill, Fab and Hazard. Hazard moaned about the defensive tactics; Fab moaned that the defensive tactics made it difficult for the midfielders; and Cahill, when asked if the players wanted Conte to stay, refused to confirm that they did.

This all points to Conte definitely being on his way and, on the basis of that drab, defensive, negative display yesterday, I have to say 'Good Riddance'.

Yeah, really good way to treat the man who’s won us 2 major trophies in 2 years and had he guts to take on some of the player power 👍.

Oh, fiddledy-di - do you really want to watch the defensive dross we've been fed by Conte?! Guardiola and Man City have upped the anti - to compete, we have to adjust our whole approach and bring in some exciting attacking players and a creative midfielder. The alternative is to get used to vying for 5th place with Arsenal season after season.

And I personally do not consider the FA Cup a major trophy anymore - even Conte has said that he would have preferred a CL place. I would rather we had attacked yesterday and lost rather than be sent to sleep by the Conte Boredom Show!

MDW, we have had a bad season in the Premiership, it happens.
We picked up a pot this year and the league last year.
On reflection we didn’t do a good job this season in the transfer market but this happens sometimes.
Rudiger looks a snip, Bakayoko improved albeit at the end of season and Emerson looks like a good investment, also, Giroud gave us something different.
Drinkwater at the moment looks like a lost cause, Zappacosta looks hopeless and Barkley has been carrying a long term injury. All clubs make mistakes!
